We present the selective, autonomous Strauss asparagus harvester, which is very precise and quick in the field, but at the same time easy and inexpensive to maintain. The patented cable kinematics can carry out up to 30 harvesting processes per minute per tool, controlled by a software module that reliably detects the size and position of the individual asparagus spears in 3D images with the help of artificial intelligence. This means that rows of asparagus can be harvested fully automatically and the full boxes can be taken off at the end of the row. Two tools are operated independently of each other.
