Roots and Refuge at the Lexington Library. What is your WHY?

What is your reason for gardening/homesteading? Mine has always been to leave a legacy, a legacy of gardening. A home where we built our life and garden together. To share, to grow, to give. My mom always gardened, I can remember being in the garden but I don't remember being taught to garden. However, some of her legacy is the love of gardening she showed with her actions in the garden weather with food or flowers. She has passed that down to me and I am only 1 of 7 children. So not all will enjoy the garden, but those that do, like me, will share the love of gardening and leave a legacy of it behind. That is the main reason 2 years ago I started my Youtube journey and named by channel Legacy Home and Garden. To document and share with my family and others our gardening journey. So our children and grandchildren can enjoy the garden and know the love, joy and happiness the garden brings us and the legacy of it that I shared.
