APALE FALLS Location: Apale, Isabel, Leyte One of most appealing water falls in Leyte because of its turquoise colored water. Getting here only requires you to walk around 15 to 30 minutes depending on your pacing from the main road. Drop off point is at the old Apale Gym. You will be relaxed with its cold and clear water. The milky colored rocks that reflect the water’s bluish color may be rich in calcium and other minerals that form’s like a stalactite/stalagmite (the ones we see in caves). Since there’s no entrance fee at this place, just make sure to clean up before you go, keep your wastes and trash with you, and bring your bottles with you so that we can keep this place as it is and still preserve its natural beauty.
