Russia is hosting an international economic forum in St. Petersburg that the Kremlin is calling 'Russia's Davos.' However, as international visitors arrived, Ukraine launched a drone attack targeting buildings and oil facilities. These attacks come a day after Russia launched a large aerial assault on Kyiv. In recent weeks, Russia has ramped up attacks on Kyiv as Ukraine faces a shortage of interceptor missiles. Ukraine relies on the US-made Patriot air defence systems for anti-ballistic missile protection. However, the US has utilised large quantities of the interceptor missiles in the Iran war, leaving Ukraine exposed as deliveries of the interceptor missiles come to a halt.
