Carioca - Tjendol Sunrise

Tjendol Sunrise's version of this classic, first heard in the 1933 movie "Flying Down To Rio". Years later, the Tielman Brothers would turn this tune into an Indo Rock classic. The Carioca was the name of the Brazilian dance Fred and Ginger were doing to it, although "Carioca" actually means "someone from Rio de Janeiro". This is the first track from Tjendol Sunrise's 2014 "Roots and Requests" album.
