Mary Shelley's FRANKENSTEIN - 15. Kapitel

With Frankenstein, Mary Shelley created a mythical figure in 1818 that gained immense popularity throughout the 20th century, thanks in part to very loose film adaptations. While the name now stands for all kinds of monsters, Shelley tells the fantastical story of Victor Frankenstein, who—at the University of Ingolstadt—creates an artificial being he cannot control. The monster longs for love and companionship but brings death to all who get too close.
