From Samarkand, we continue along the Silk Road – using local marshrutkas and hitchhiking to reach Bukhara 🇺🇿 We stop at an atmospheric, old complex in the heart of the city. The next day, we visit one of Uzbekistan's oldest gems – the madrasas, the Ark Fortress, and the famous Kalyan Tower, which was once used as a site for executions. We also learn about Avicenna and the stories of British diplomats who tragically ended their journeys here.
