IS: Charting a path to Ukraine’s reconstruction
This high-level panel on Ukraine will present a forward-looking conversation envisioning a country that has secured peace, rebuilt its economy, anchored its institutions in solid economic governance and restored its human capital. It will also illuminate the pathways that must be travelled to reach that destination. We will explore the human, financial, institutional and economic forces that must be activated to get there. The panel will bring together voices from the Ukrainian government and Ukrainian businesses – as well as development partners including the EBRD and the European Union – to articulate what each must deliver to support Ukraine’s long-term recovery. Speakers: Odile Renaud-Basso, President, EBRD RT HON Rachel Reeves, MP Chancellor of the Exchequer, UK Valdis Dombrovskis, EU Commissioner, European Commission Serhii Marchenko, EBRD Governor and Minister of Finance, Ukraine Tomáš Fiala, Founder and CEO, Dragon Capital Sasha Vakulina, Europe Correspondent, Euronews
