篠原涼子登場！　「ONE PIECE FILM Z」初日舞台あいさつ２

Actress Ryoko Shinohara appeared at a stage greeting for the animated film "ONE PIECE FILM Z" held in Tokyo on December 15th. As a guest voice actress, Shinohara played the sexy female scientist Ein. Responding to the host's request to "express your joy on opening day through the character you're playing," she shyly delivered her signature line, "Ikima~su! Modomodo!" (Let's go!), which is also the name of a technique from the film, and livened up the venue. "ONE PIECE FILM Z" is the latest animated film based on Eiichiro Oda's popular manga "ONE PIECE." Set in the "New World Arc" after two years of training, the film depicts the Straw Hat Pirates facing off against Z, a legendary former Navy Admiral who is plotting to "eliminate all pirates." Appearing on stage were actor Kagawa Teruyuki, who is participating as a guest voice actor, screenwriter Suzuki Osamu, regular voice actors Tanaka Mayumi, who plays the main character Luffy, and director Nagamine Tatsuya. Shinohara greeted the audience with a smile, saying, "This is my first time as a voice actor, and I'm honored to be standing alongside such an incredible cast." He passionately appealed, "Anyone of any age will cry. You'll get goosebumps, and I think it'll be tough going home." Kagawa said, "The man named Zett is filled with sadness, and this is a work that will move not only children but adults as well. It's a highlight." Shinohara plays Ain, a subordinate of Zett, and Kagawa also voices Zett's subordinate, Binz. Suzuki, who has been a fan of the manga since it began serialization, said with relief, "This time I was able to participate in the production as a crew member (on the production side). There was pressure to make something that everyone wanted to see, but we were able to create something good." Director Nagamine shared some behind-the-scenes stories from the production, saying, "I have a stronger attachment to Z (who appears in the film) than Luffy, so when I was talking to (original author) Oda (Eiichiro), he would often scold me, saying, 'Luffy is the main character.'"
