Can We Visit All 98 DC Metro Stations in Record Time?

Using only the Washington Metro and public buses, a team of friends and I are trying to visit all 98 stations on WMATA's metro network in as short a time as possible. We don't have to get off at every station, but we do have to be on regular trains stopping at each one. The time to beat? Seven hours and forty minutes, set by Zach Lincoln.
