This talk addresses why resurrecting dead languages is a valuable endeavor and how we can make it happen. Michael Halcomb is an innovator in the field of teaching and helping learners acquire fluency in dead languages. Blending scholarship with enthusiasm and effective pedagogy, Michael works to create resources and communities for amateurs and scholars alike. In addition to founding the Conversational Koine Institute, he co-founded GlossaHouse publishing, has authored numerous books, and is an avid conference presenter.
