To keep their product safe and cold delivery vans can rack up idle times in excess of 2 hours a day. Assuming 10 deliveries per day, 15 minutes between delivers and a 30 minute pre-cool cycle at the start your delivery, your van will consume approximately 1,300L of fuel a year and produce over 3 tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions At Volta Air we are continually improving our quality, our packaging, our support, and our product’s performance. We pack our refrigeration unit into three boxes; the condenser, evaporator, and installation materials. We ensure a frame is added to keep the boxes structural integrity and ensure no damage is done between us and our clients. The installation can be done between 6 to 8 hours, with our technology we have made it easy to integrate by eliminating the need to attach an auxiliary compressor to the engine block. This also prevents idling during deliveries and pre-cooling cycles, eliminating senseless fuel usage and engine wear. Users also have the option for temporary product storage if unable to make it back to your facilities or unforeseen delivery stoppages by simply plugging into the wall.
