Canon EOS 6D | Journey To Find The PERFECT YouTube Studio Camera

In this video I continue my journey to find the perfect YouTube studio camera, this time looking at the Canon 6D. Here’s the story. The Canon 6D is a full frame DSLR camera that has a 20.2MP sensor. It can shoot between ISO 100-25,600 in standard and 50-102,800 expanded. It can record a maximum resolution of 1080 HD in 30p and 720 HD in 60p. It has built in Wi-Fi so you can operate the camera through an app, but unfortunately it’s only for photo, not video. It has a fixed rear screen, so it doesn’t flip out, nor is it a touch screen. It has a single SD card slot and has a single-axis electronic level, which is helpful for composing your shot. Canon’s highly praised dual-pixel autofocus feature is missing in this camera and we are limited to a 30 minute recording time limit. If you’re wanting to livestream, this camera only gives out a 720p signal through mini-HDMI. CORRECTION: At time of filming, the 6D was not compatible with the Canon EOS Webcam Utility, but now is.
