POTA CAMPOUT! | K-6525 | PART 2 / DAY 2 | LEFS 4010 EXPERIMENT

Welcome to PART 2! Fair warning. I didn't sleep worth a darn. No amount of coffee was going to help that, and you can tell I wasn't quite fully awake and a functioning member of society for a bit. ;) The band conditions seemed a little worse today for this video. Lots of QSB and the contacts were a little harder to get. I ended up hunting parks for this one too. The main focus of this video is a small experiment I wanted to do with the Chameleon LEFS 4010 antenna. Is it better with the end of the wire slightly raised off of the ground? Or is it better staked to the ground? We're going to find out. Granted, any antenna experiment can be called inconclusive to an extent. Band conditions and propagation can change drastically during a test or a park activation, as we've all seen, especially in 2023. ***EDIT*** Well it happened, I had to edit out a piece of music from my cinematic squirrel moment in the video. It came across as a copyright claim, but also said it had no impact on the video, and that it wasn't a copyright strike....even so....I picked a random song that fit through YouTube and got rid of it. The insane thing? I gave the appropriate attribution of it down below as I do in all of my videos. I went and looked at the song on the website I got it from and no other steps were needed. I think a different company tried to claim the music and it didn't even belong to them. All of my music comes from the same source and this has never been an issue.
