Philips RF8 Radiogram Two Chassis Restore - 1965

I was handed two radio chassis that had been butchered by a previous repairer, "can you fix these Dave?" the owner says as he plonks down what's left of two chassis and a boxes of parts. The owner had driven for 12 hours and 1000km to get them to me, I could hardly say no. Repairing the chassis was the first hurdle, finding all the built in faults from the previous repairer was the real challenge.
