Back to Newstead for the 47th British Motorcycle Rally. Plenty of rain on the Friday when we arrived. This was the first outing for the 1949 GP500 Triumph. The bike created a lot of attention in Maldon on the Saturday. Hundreds of British motorcycles lined the Main Street. Saturday night back at Newstead the band was playing and the beer was flowing. The Newstead race course is a brilliant venue for such an event . if you haven't been to an All British Rally you are missing out.
