July 3rd is my biological dad's birthday, and with him currently being in jail, it brought up a lot of emotions that I wasn't expecting. I wanted to be honest with you about how I was feeling, even though this isn't easy to talk about. After that emotional start, I decided to take a spontaneous trip to Las Vegas for the 4th of July weekend. Sometimes life can be heavy, but it can also be filled with moments that remind you to keep moving forward.
