This ride starts near Pacific Beach before climbing inland through Clairemont and dropping into Tecolote Canyon — one of the most unique riding areas in San Diego. The route includes: rolling mesa roads hidden dirt connectors steep canyon climbs eucalyptus-lined trails and fast transitions between urban streets and wild terrain Tecolote Canyon completely changed the feel of the ride and ended up being the highlight of the day.
