My Official Movie Review For Supergirl (2026)! This Is a Sci Fi/ Action Movie and The Second Installment Into The DCU. In This Film We See Milly Alcock Take On The Role of Kara-Zor-El, a Woman From Planet Krypton Who Finds Herself Struggling With Addiction and Purpose. Along The Way of Her Adventure Throughout The Galaxy, She Encounters Some Unlikely Allies As She Tries To Defeat a Sinister Presence and Redeem Her Own Soul. Going Into This Film I Was Very Excited To See What James Gunns DCU Had In Store For Fans, But Sadly After Seeing This Movie All That Has Changed. Supergirl Is a Mess of a Film With a Horrible Script That Leaves Kara To Take a Backseat In Her Own Movie. With Fantastic Costume Design and a Great Performance From Jason Momoa In His Dream Role of Playing Lobo, Everything Good About This Film Is Wasted In An Otherwise Abysmal Experience. This Convoluted Plot Leaves The Audience Disappointed As a Pathetic Supergirl Fails To Have Her Hero Moment. Coming Across As a Bad 'Guardians of The Galaxy' Rip Off With a Forgettable Villain That Leaves a Bad Impression On Its Viewer. Supergirl Is a Nail In The Coffin For This Brand New DCU and Is Easily One of The Worst Theatrical Experiences of The Year.
