From my French vegetable garden, I share new inspiring tips almost weekly for the - beginner - vegetable garden enthusiast. It remains very hot in Southern France, but the good news is: night temperatures are much lower. As a result, the large tomatoes are finally starting to ripen. So, the first harvest of the large tomatoes can finally begin. And it is already so large that the first tomato sauce can be made. But also a rack full of the first sun-dried tomatoes. I will explain once again how I do these two preserving methods. A number of crops are struggling during the persistent heat, but there are also crops that don't let it bother them at all. Which ones? I will show you. The strawberries in the greenhouse are also doing surprisingly well and are already thinking about the next generation. That means: taking cuttings.
