Marines in the Redwood City 4th of July Parade

The Redwood City (California) Fourth of July Parade is widely celebrated as the largest Independence Day parade in Northern California. Our unit will be marching as part of a larger group called the Marine Corps Coordinating Council of Northern California, which will be comprised of The Women's Marine Association, Recruit Station San Francisco (the Gun Fighters), San Mateo recruiting office, and us, The Marine Corps League's General J. C Breckinridge San Francisco Detachment 10. Also joining us will be the Golden Gate Young Marines of the Marine Corps League. Our unit is one of more than 70 entries, and over 2,000 participants will help bring this beloved community tradition to life. Thousands of spectators are expected to line the parade route to celebrate Independence Day and enjoy this exciting event celebrating our Country's and our Corps' 250th birthday. The parade is much larger than what would appear in the video, as Sienna will be running alongside our unit, mainly videotaping us as we march along the 1.3-mile route.
