SLOW – Part 3 Brian Field's Glaciers
This is part 3, of my series SLOW. Here I play parts of Brian Field's piece Glaciers from Three Passions for our Tortured Planet and I talk about how classical music evolved to contemporary music. It is a teaser of my new album which will be released later in the spring/summer under the Prima Classic label. A collection of short - and slow - pieces, ranging from Bach-Siloti to Liszt, Satie to Chopin. The album will also feature new specially commissioned pieces. With this work I want to advocate for humankind to reclaim their time - to Slow down, to Be rather than to Do. After this release, I would like to introduce SLOW to audiences internationally in a series of live performances during the 2023-2024 season.
