Lakhdenpokhya is a city in Russia, part of the Republic of Karelia, the administrative center of the Lakhdenpokhya District. Population as of 2023 - 5855 people. History Until 1924, the settlement was called Sieklahti ("Sieve Bay") and was part of the settlement of Yakkima. In 1924, the settlement was separated into an independent settlement of Lakhdenpokhya.
