Today I will introduce you to the beach town of Carvoeiro. It is a beautiful small town with sharp hills and cliffs. It has a short and gentle beach. Nearby are many wild beaches that can only be accessed from the waterside. The "Forte de Nossa Senhora da Encarnação" is on the left cliff. Be sure to go up there for a great view of the Atlantic Ocean, the coastline and Carvoeiro beach. Because over time the building and playground will no longer be there. Since the rock is sandy there is a process of erosion. And the playground is no longer working because one edge is already falling dangerously close to the playground. Behind the fort is the "Carvoeiro Boardwalk" Be sure to take the time to walk along the wooden path along the ocean.
