Focusing on the covered shopping arcade directly connected to the station’s west exit, I leisurely explored the area—which, as the station name “Handai-mae” suggests, is close to Osaka University’s Toyonaka Campus. The neighborhood has a distinct student town vibe, yet it also features a lively nightlife scene with clusters of bars and pubs.
