We live in an increasingly globalized world, and Third Culture Kids are testaments to this evolution. Carolina Mejia explores the nuances of identity, especially for those who have grown up in different cultures and battle with not feeling directly represented by one. As citizens of an interconnected world, we hold the responsibility of acknowledging our position in it in terms of race, ethnicity, and identity. This talk aims to empathize with the Third Culture Kids experiencing rootlessness and exemplify all that is gained by being a citizen of the world.
