At 66, Bobby Debarge's Brother Reveals The DARK Truth Bobby DeBarge was an American singer, songwriter, and producer, best known as the lead vocalist of the Motown R&B/soul band Switch and for his work with his family group, DeBarge. Born Robert Louis DeBarge Jr. on March 5, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan, Bobby was the eldest of the DeBarge siblings, who became known for their smooth vocals and harmonious sound.
