Final 2022 performance of "The Mad Barber" - 10/29/22, Cherokee High School Band of Warriors

HEEEEEEEY BAND!? WELL DONE, CHEROKEE! I am proud of you all - you're all my kids whether you know it or not, and I am SO grateful for each and every one of you. Each of you brought a special piece of yourself to this band to make it what it is, and you should celebrate a job well done and continue to push yourselves to be better musicians, proper marchers, but most importantly, amazing friends to everyone you share this experience with. You're truly one-of-a-kind. Much love to you all and keep going, doing better, and share that light you're shining. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's a bittersweet show for me as I watched my Senior march her final show with the Band of Warriors and the Drumline. A fine performance that capped a wonderful season and fantastic show. Thank you to Directors Garrick Cheyne, Brandon Worley, and Diane Worley for making my daughter's time in your band some of the best memories either of us have had. Winterguard season awaits as Diane gets Samantha for the last time as she rounds out her Senior year at Cherokee High School. I'M NOT CRYING, YOU'RE CRYING!!!
