VCU led Saint Joseph's 7-6 early in the first half when freshman guard Nyk Lewis hit a 3-pointer to spark a 24-3 run to take a 31-9 lead with 8:43 left before halftime. VCU held a double-digit lead through the second half to advance to the A-10 Championship.
