Bock Lumber 1: The Hoosier Valley Forney
After a summer of test runs and crew training, the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum of North Judson, Indiana debuted Bock Lumber Co. 1 on September 3, 2022. Running with a short consist for museum members only, the diminutive 0-4-4T Forney locomotive made three two-mile round trips from the North Judson depot to the eastern end of the museum's former Erie trackage. The only operating standard gauge Forney locomotive in the world, this cute little engine is sure to be a big draw for the museum in the coming seasons.
