Making a Squirrel feeder. Part 1 of mini series :- how to establish a grey squirrel shoot.

With receiving a lot of interest and requests of advice vie Instagram messages I decided I should probably make a mini series on how to establish a feeder, hide and everything else that goes into a grey squirrel shoot. In this video I will be going over how you can make a very basic squirrel feeder with some simple tools and a scrap piece of ply for next to nothing. The first step towards establishing a grey squirrel shoot on your land/permission. In the next few videos I will run through how to set up the feeder with a hide, zeroing your rifle and checking ammo then finally wrapping it up with a shoot and hopefully a few grey tails in the bag. All sizes of the feeder are as follows:- 1- Front @ 300mm x 250mm (12” x 10”) 2- sides @ 300mm x 200mm ( 12” x 8” ) 1-Back @ 380mm x 250mm ( 15 “ x 10” ) 1- Base @ 380mm x 250mm (15” x 10” ) 1- lid @ 300mm x 250mm ( 12” x 10” ) 1- 70 x 70 x 25 mm electrical back box 1- 3” butt hinge 1- box of 50mm x 4 screws 1- box of 16mm x 5 screws Hope this helps and good luck. #airgunhaunting #airgunung #basc #pestcontrol #airgunhunters #howto #howtomake #squirrelhunting
