A student was allegedly caught cheating using a mobile phone during the NEET-UG 2026 re-exam held in Jaipur. But this is no ordinary case of cheating. It is alleged that the student took the mobile phone to the examination center hidden in her undergarments and was attempting to find answers to questions using AI during the exam. The incident occurred at the examination center in Bindayaka. Teachers on duty during the exam found the student's actions suspicious. Upon investigation, the mobile phone was recovered from her. During interrogation, it was revealed that the mobile phone was carefully hidden under the buttons of her shirt to avoid detection during security checks. According to the police, the student admitted that she had brought the mobile phone with her with the intention of finding answers to questions using AI. However, the jammers installed around the examination center hampered her plan and the mobile network was not working effectively. But the story does not end there. Preliminary investigations also revealed that the mobile phone contained images of the NEET question paper. Investigating agencies are now trying to determine whether an attempt was made to transmit these photos to an outsider. However, initial information suggests that the photos could not be sent outside due to the jammer being activated. The biggest question in this case is regarding the security arrangements. The investigation revealed that the metal detector had alerted twice while entering the examination center. When security personnel questioned the student, she said the alert was due to a metal hook attached to her undergarments.
