Welcome to my channel - braided. I would like to show you step by step how to make a hanging swing using the macrame method. Every beginner who enters the macrame and wants to make such a swing asks himself the question: where to start? So from purchasing metal hoops - depending on what size we want to get a swing, this is an individual matter, my hoops have a diameter of 40 cm and 110 cm. Strings - good quality cotton string 3PLY- 5 mm, I used about 850 meters of natural color for this work. I used Lovely Cotton 5 mm natural cotton cord to braid the rim. My swing is 150 cm high. Of course, it is important to mount it to the ceiling, first of all it must be stable and have a load capacity of at least 120 kg. When attaching the upper rim, I braided 6 fastening ropes, worked with a spiral knot, cut the strings to a length of 16 meters - of course, I folded the strings in half and hung them on my fastening, I hang the strings in two and from them I weave fastening ropes, due to the fact that the strings on which I work are quite enough long, I made skeins of them, later the strings get shorter and I let them go slowly. When I have 6 ropes weaved, I attach them to the smaller hoop, fastening so that two are at the front and four at the back, the strings from these ropes will be used for further work. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------ In the third video, I braided 4 ropes with a 110 cm long spiral knot. I put 18 strings x 10 meters on the back - I fold it in half.
