TRONIK AVENTUR 360 HAUT PARLEURS pour débutants
IMPORTANT: When using a speaker with a true AC signal (voltage that gradually alternates between positive and negative), do not install a freewheeling diode across the speaker terminals, because otherwise, you will eliminate the negative alternation!! However, when using a speaker as in my example in this video (the Arduino's tone signal is sent to the base of a transistor that drives the speaker), the signal is not AC, but intermittently positive (voltage that will be either positive or suddenly zero volts), and this sudden switch from positive to zero volts will create a reverse surge on the speaker (specific to all coils), and it is in this case that a freewheeling diode will be required across the terminals to eliminate this surge.
