Trustmaster T16000 Throttle sticky "fix" (but free)
If you own a TM T16000 Hotas you probably ran into the sticky throttle problem. This can be fixed by setting the screws in the device at the correct pressure and correctly calibrated. this is done at the factory and not very well. a bit like folding knives, which stick a bit unless you ajust the folding axle screw when they arent on bearings. while this wont be a good as swapping the internals for linear bearings i believe this is good enough for most and doesnt cost anything, not even tape! Tldr: open it up screw the plate in all the way to ensure equal pressure , then back off 1/4 turn on all screws except the top metal bar/plate (back off a full turn at least on that one) and the arm with the washer (back off until the washer moves freely). give it a bit of fresh grease (any..) while at it and now the throttle should glide freely without stiction. if thats not enough, back off another 1/4 turn.
