NA Speaker Blaze – “Our Message is Hope” - NA Convention Workshop

NA Speaker Blaze is convicted murderer, who has a serious message of hope in this NA convention workshop. After 22 years clean, she believes that if you come into the rooms, get a sponsor, and work the steps, you can do anything you set your mind to. After getting out of prison, she could vacate a bar with her presence alone. She feared nothing and nobody. Her friends were grateful when she decided to go to AA. She got clean in September of 1973, and hasn’t put her hands on anybody in 22 years. When she finally found Narcotics Anonymous, she could talk about the drugs she had done and could even identify as an addict, without anybody saying anything or kicking them out. The first gift she was given was a gift of hope. The last half of the workshop consisted of several members sharing on the topic of “Our Message is Hope.” Around the 46:10 mark the audio goes blank for about a minute.
