Full La Grave for First Timers - Freeride Paradise

I'd been wanting to ski at La Grave for a long time but was, quite frankly, intimidated. I had heard that there were some ways down that didn't require extreme skiing expertise, but nothing I saw online really gave me a good feel of what I'd be getting into. I hope to solve that issue for others contemplating skiing La Grave for the first time. Also, if you sign on to be part of guided group, it's much more affordable (cost me €120 at the time of this outing). I used Snowlegends guides. They are great and the groups are only 3 or 4 people plus the guide. This video includes pretty much the whole ride, with only the stops edited out. This was a year on which the telerifique was closed for repairs so we accessed the area via a short hike from the top of Les Deux Alpes. We started are descent on the Glacier de la Girose, then rather than proceeding down the Les Vallons de Chancel, we stopped and skinned it up to the Col du Lac, and traversed under the telerifique (the tram) and skied down the Les Vallons de la Meije. These are considered the "easy" routes down, but they are unmarked, requiring guidance to prevent venturing into more extreme territory. Even these relatively easier routes require an ability to ski / board powder, crud, and some steep and narrow sections (a bit of trees too). Avalanche gear is a must.
