Country Bread Baked In The Toaster Oven
When making this bread dough use fresh yeast! The yeast I used for this recipe was a bit old and though it activated--foamed, etc. in baking the top crust split and I found the bread to be tasty but a bit crumbly. I have made the Country Bread many times, always using fresh yeast and this never happened. I am not too old to learned new things! And buy my Pop It In The Toaster Oven cookbook!
