Besides, I'm a little bit like royalty, which also has to do with where she comes from. Our guest today is the owner of Dia de Beaute, Vic Beaute. Her name is Vic Ceridono. At the beginning of our conversation, Vic told us about the beginnings of her career, from the birth of Dia de Beaute to the creation of her brand. She explained why she chose to create a brand from scratch instead of becoming associated with one. Since Vic has a degree in journalism, I asked her what it was like to navigate the dilemma of being a journalist versus a blogger. When she started the blog, it was really just a hobby, but things grew and reached a scale she couldn't have imagined. Along these lines, we also talked about how to stay relevant to her audience, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the Vic Beaute brand.
