空調服より冷える？水冷ベスト「チラーXプロ」を農作業で使ってみた(2026.7.17)

It's suddenly gotten really hot, hasn't it? This time, I tried out the "Chiller X Pro" water-cooled vest as a heat countermeasure for farm work in the middle of summer. The system works by circulating water inside the vest and cooling it with a cooling unit on the back. When I wore it, I felt a noticeable coolness, especially on my back. Unlike air-conditioned clothing that draws in air, a major feature is that you can feel the coolness even on windy days. On the other hand, because the cooling unit is on the back, it's not suitable for driving a car or tractor. Also, there is some fan noise, which made it a little difficult to use while filming videos. Nevertheless, I feel it's quite promising as a countermeasure for hot days when walking or standing and working in the fields.
