2004 Trail Blazer VVT and Cam position sensor removal and installation Part 3

After about three months of sitting and trying to figure out the Trailblazer issues I have finally figured out the problems and which parts failed. The Variable Valve Timing Solenoid (VVT) was the main failure, but it was not the only failure. The VVT was actually masking other issues that I could not correct until the VVT was replaced with a functioning VVT. Once confirmed and repaired I replace the cam position sensor just as a good measure. I also replace all the spark plugs and the #1 and #4 coils. I will most likely replace the rest later since apparently they are failing at a steady pace. I changed the oil and filter prior to installation of the VVT as recommended to ensure good clean oil was circulating through the engine to alleviate the dirty oil part of the equation. The total cost of the repairs and parts in this video was approximately 200 dollars. Total cost of the entire ordeal was approximately 325 dollars. Overall far less than going to a mechanic to do it all. As of now no codes and the engine is running better than it ever has.
