Warkauze - Form Redundancy

[Complextro] He opened his eyes, and with no haste he stood one leg at a time, as if all of his energy was simply spilled away into nothing. He lifted his head and saw something in front of him. It was strange, he thought. A large amalgamation loomed over him like a mountain. What was this thing? A pile of goo? Maybe it was alive! Or could it perhaps be many things bound together? The large pile pulsated in some places, and seemed dead in others, and it had many large tendrils slithering and squirming, as if they were trying to escape it. As he observed the pile, he began to hear footsteps. "Oh! A friend!" He yelled with excitement. He looked behind him and saw a small nimoonol running towards the pile. The nimoonol looked just as excited as he was! The nimoonol ran, and he ran, until it zoomed past. Once the nimoonol was close to the pile, he stopped, then slid on his paws until he was only a few steps away from the strange pile. He waited, and he watched the nimoonol next to the pile. The pile then began to calm, and it let out a loud and deep bellow. The sound vibrated the smooth stone floors beneath him. One of the many tendrils attached to the pile swooped down and wrapped itself around the nimoonol and began to pull it in. Slowly, the nimoonol was reeled in, and slowly, the nimoonol began to sink into the pile, until he could no longer see him. As he watched the pile, another nimoonol dashed past him toward the pile. One nimoonol, then another, then another, until there were too many to count. All running as fast as they could toward the pile. The tendrils pulled each one in as the nimoonols approached, until none of them remained. "New friends! Maybe I can make new friends!" He happily said. He began to skip with joy toward the pile. Once he was close, he sat down and waited eagerly, but the pile didn't react. "Hello?" he said, confused, with is head tilted. But the pile did not move. The tendrils stopped moving, and they dangled from where they were attached, as if all of them had fallen asleep. "Oh..." he mumbled. "I guess I knew this would happen." His head felt heavy. He became sad. He stood up, and turned away from the pile. He began to walk away. The pile let out another bellow, but this time though it was weak. He ignored the sound and continued to walk. "Where are you going? Don't go! The small one! The small one over there!" the pile whispered. But he ignored it once more. The pile began to fade, draining away like a leaking glass of water, until all that was left was him, and an infinitely empty room.
