In this TEDx Talk, Stefano Baldi seeks to understand how diplomacy has responded to technological innovation. In the face of major changes, how has it evolved? Will it be able to evolve again? Stefano Baldi is a career diplomat who has always been concerned with innovation and creativity applied to diplomatic activity. Over the course of his nearly thirty years of professional experience, which has taken him from Geneva to Dar es Salaam, from New York to Brussels, he has systematically promoted the use of new technologies in diplomatic practice. He has published several volumes on the functioning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the diplomatic-consular network. He is currently Director of Training at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and is involved in several training experiments aimed at effectively preparing diplomats for the 21st century.
