Checking the power Remove the connector from the sensor. Turn on the ignition. Measure the voltage between the power wire and ground. Normal: 4.8–5.2 V (approximately 5 V). If there is no power, the problem is in the wiring or the ECU. Scribd + 2 2. Checking the signal Reconnect the connector. Connect the signal wire to the back of the connector. Connect the black multimeter probe to ground, and the red one to the signal wire. Typical values: Mode Voltage Ignition on, engine not running 4–4.8 V Idle 1–1.8 V Abrupt opening of the throttle Voltage quickly rises to 4–4.5 V If the voltage does not change or is constantly around 0 V or 5 V, the sensor or wiring is faulty. #autoelectrician #automobile #renologan #sensor #howtochecksensor
