Ki-61 Hien | No sound

This is my big painting project. I basically don’t know anything about Japanese planes. I picked this one purely for the paint scheme: lots of masking + natural metal finish. Pretty much first time trying to do NMF. I used Tamiya LP series and MRP metallics. They both work very well and are very durable. The panel post-shading looks fairly good on the video, but it is too strong IRL I happen to glue the landing gear struts with incorrect orientation first, but luckily noticed that soon enough to be able to fix it.
