Manuel Göttsching on making E2-E4

Over the last four decades, the Berlin native's inhabited a number of crucial incarnations: Kosmische vanguardist (with Ash Ra Tempel), pioneer in minimalist guitar music (his solo mid-1970s run) and Techno forefather (with 1984's seminal E2-E4, one of our five favourite albums of the decade). With Göttsching recently in town to play his first London date in 13 years. FACT sat down with the Berlin native for an extensive chat about his life and times. On the agenda?
