Wings of Straw - Animated Short film by Anna-Maria Micheva

"Wing of Straw" is a Graduation work by Anna-Maria Micheva. It embodies the beauty of both analog and digital animation techniques. With fully gauche painted backgrounds and digital 2D frames this movie tells a story about friendship, bravery and creativity. The scarecrow, our main character, has one dream and that is to be able to fly like the crows he sees every day. And with the help of a crow he meets along the way he will be able to make his dreams come true. Anna-Maria worked on the film process alone, going through the different steps in the pipeline one by one.
