CRAZY! Indonesia vs. China World Cup Qualifier Game!

Indonesia vs China world cup qualifier 2025-- my first time at a professional football match here in Indonesia. The venue was Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, (Jakarta) and it was packed to capacity at 80,000 people. Indonesia fans of the geruda (eagles) are known to be some of the liveliest supporters of Indonesia's national team. I was really impressed that seemingly everyone in the audience was singing together, even before the game started. 3 full songs, and then the national anthem! It was an epic moment that has the power to give you goosebumps. My feeling is that the chanting, singing and passionate support of the fans has the power to boost the home team. Imagine playing a sport, with your country's flad on your shirt, as 80,000 people are going wild. The energy of the fans must translate into a swell of vigor in the players. The crowd reached a new high when #10 Ole Romeny scored on a penalty kick to give Indonesia the lead 1-0 in the first half. It turned out to be the winning goal, as it was the only goal scored in the game. The president of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto was in attendance, and he congratulated the players, on the field, once the game was done. It goes to show you the level of importance, and national pride, this game had on every Indonesia citizen. Indonesians seem to be very proud and patriotic people! After the game, the crowd sung a patriotic song, as the players walked around the field. Truly a memorable moment! It was fun to be a part of, with the stadium seemingly still full, even 20 minutes after the game ended. Awesome stuff. THANKS FOR WATCHING!
