Despite the improvisation, I hope this video has fulfilled its purpose. The intention is to demystify the electronics of biomedical equipment, how these devices are actually handled on the workbench, and who handles them on the workbench. Although electronic schematics for these boards are almost never available, the electronic technology used in these devices heavily utilizes modularity. The boards are well-organized and divided into identifiable modules. It's possible to earn good money repairing this equipment; however, availability depends on the clinical engineering sector, usually an outsourced sector. The courses are: electrotechnics, electronics technician, biomedical equipment technician (any of these). Based on basic knowledge of electronics in component testing, datasheet reading, recognizing the application of a component in a circuit, soldering techniques, and electronic rework. The best references I found for my new profession are the YouTubers and instructors Nilton C Braga, Burgos Eletrônica, Eletrolab, as well as their video courses and books.
