After arriving in Aguas Calientes via the hydroelectric dam trail and enduring a full day of hardship, it was time to explore the archaeological site from the inside. The entrance was early in the morning, still with considerable fog and drizzle, which made the atmosphere completely different. As time passed, the sun came out and revealed just how impressive and unique Machu Picchu is.
